Accommodations
Overnight guests at the White Horse are accommodated in five bedrooms,
including one with a private bath and another with a private bath and
sitting room. A two-bedroom cottage behind the mansion
sleeps up to eight guests. Overnight guests enjoy access to the library,
sunroom, dining room, and other public rooms as well as five acres of
lawn, gardens, and woodland around the house. Our porches and patios
are favorite gathering places.

Rates are based on single and double occupancy. Add $15 per night for each
additional guest. Children four and younger stay free if no extra
sleeping arrangements are needed. We may require a two-night minimum stay during
holidays and special events, and rates may then vary. Rates include a
12-percent tax.
Amenities
In-room amenities include fine linens, luxurious towels, delicious
chocolates, alarm-clock radios, and selected toiletries including hair
dryers. Optional amenities include irons and ironing boards, crib rental,
refrigerator rental, and roll-away bed rentals. Though most guests spend
as much time as possible exploring the national parklands, a private
television and movies are also available for in-room use.
Reservations & Deposits
A 50-percent deposit is due upon reservation or within seven days if your
payment is to be posted. The balance is due 30 days prior to your
arrival. If arrival is within 30 days, your full payment is due upon
reservation or within seven days if your payment is to be posted.
Late-payment reservations may be cancelled without notice.
Reservations are not confirmed until deposit of full-payment is received.
Pet Policy
We will allow certain mature pets and reserve the right to refuse pets
depending on circumstances. A $15 nightly rate for pet lodging is
charged though additional charges may apply. Only one pet will be
permitted per room. Pets may not be left unattended or chained outside.
Pets may be crated or kenneled on property by permission. Failure to observe
guidelines will result in the pet’s removal from the premises, and no
refund shall apply should the guest choose to vacate.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival, your
payment may be fully refunded less a $50 fee per room. A gift certificate
of 50 percent of the full balance will be issued for cancellations made 30
and 15 days prior to arrival. Payment will not be refunded for
cancellations within 14 days of scheduled arrival.
Payment
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, money orders, and business, personal,
casher’s, and traveler’s checks. Restrictions may apply to non-guaranteed
payment methods.
